‘ less staring, more running! ’ not like he’s giving the RED HOODED GUY much of a choice in the matter, what with how he’s picking him up and running away. he’s careful, of course, in his handling of the human ( organics are always, to his knowledge, so FRAGILE ) —– but his major concern is avoiding any substantial injuries. soon he comes to realize he’s not without resources: he still has his WHEELS. in an instant he changes shape, speeds down the road and hopes to the knights themselves that the man currently riding shotgun inside is ALRIGHT. it’d make a bad first impression otherwise.
so much, too much, comes at him all at once and for one of the few times in his life thus far, even jason’s trained senses aren’t enough to keep up right away. but the first thing that registers – oh ; he’s being shot at again. the realization brings a sudden start to his previously shocked - still frame and he flinches, ducking his head as if it would somehow provide adequate protection ; already reaching for his own firearm and twisting back to hopefully start his own counter - measures before one of those bullets finds a new home in his flesh.
